has new york city lost it’s soul? how have gentrification and “luxury buildings” changed the city? with text derived from research and interviews with nyc cab drivers, artists, and architects, this new now explores the lost soul of new york city. we follow the story of a young person who finds himself out of joint with the luxury world of new york. he embarks on a quest to discover the people who were once there. on his journey, he discovers a person who once lived in his apartment building (now a luxury high-rise) and a family struggling to keep their restaurant afloat.
