Set to the music of Lonnie Holley, Goodbye to Wayward Flesh premired at the University of Michigan as a part of the 2016 Spring Dance concert, Momentum. As an African American sculptor, poet, and musician, Lonnie Holley's art evokes raw authenticity. His found object sculpture and his unpredictable antifolk rhythm inspired the harmonic dissonance of this piece.
